Homemade Pizza Crust

  • 1 package of yeast (2 1/4 teaspoon)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 1/2 cups flour

Dissolve the yeast in water until foaming (about 5 minutes). Then add the salt, sugar and oil. Mix well and add the flour to wet mix. Mix until dough forms then knead until firm, about six minutes.
Spray a dish with non-stick spray the place dough ball in bowl and flip so top is coated. Let rise until doubled, at least an hour.
Flatten dough and roll out until diameter you desire is reached. Stretch crust on a pan of your choice then poke holes with a fork to let the steam escape.
Bake the crust for 5 minutes at 425 degrees or until lightly golden.

Finally, top with your favorite pizza ingredients and bake until cheese is bubbly!
