Not sure what to do with those left over, expired coupons? Try this!

We all have it at the end of the month when we come across those poor coupons that just didn’t make it to the store with you. What do you do with them though? Most people probably toss them in the trash or at least do good for the environment and recycle them, but is that what the future should hold for these forgotten about coupons? Is there something better? The answer is yes! Did you know that our military men and women can use coupons? Let me rephrase that. Did you know that our military men and women can use EXPIRED coupons???? It’s true!!! Up to 4 months after the expiration date, they can use the coupons.

I’ve come across an amazing facebook group that actually connects you to those military families who are in need of your expired coupons. The page is called Coupons 4 Overseas Troops 4ever. This group has over 1,000 members and is growing every day!

Here is their mission statement. Our group is looking for new members to adopt and send coupons to overseas military families ! Please send a private message today!🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸📬 We are also always looking for families to be adopted out…of course …so message your address to me with any questions and a request to join the group! Thank you for your sacrifices you’re making each day to give us our freedom!🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸! The simple adoption procedure in this group is I pm you an address after joining the group you mail coupons from home at least once a month to the family. The wife will friend you on Facebook so you can tag her in messages on the group page each time you mail coupons. The military shipping rates link as well as minor details are in the pinned post on the page… But, you can mail one business size envelope filled with 125-150 Qs with 2 stamps each month if you can’t afford or choose not to pay a lot for postage each month.

How cool is that? What do you do with your expired coupons? Feel free to share your story!

Thanks Janie!
